1. Which features are available on AdTranquility's mobile application/desktop browser extension?

Depending on your purchase, your subscription gives you access to AdTranquility's mobile application (available for Android mobile devices) and/or the AdTranquility browser extension (available for Chrome browser).

However, it's important to note that the availability of AdTranquility's features (Spam Shield, Privacy Shield VPN, and Ad-blocker) is contingent upon the product you're using (mobile application/browser extension) and the operating system on your device/computer (Android, Windows, MacOS). Consequently, some features may not yet be available on your specific device or operating system.

For more information on feature availability, please refer to section 4. I need assistance from Support and reach out to our Support team.

2. How can I set up the Spam Shield?

If the Spam Shield feature is available on your device/operating system/browser, here’s how to set it up:

A. On AdTranquility's mobile application:

1. Open AdTranquility mobile application.

2. Once on the home screen, tap the  Spam Shield feature to open its settings.

3. To enable/disable Spam Shield, simply slide the Block notifications toggle to the right/left.

4. Once Spam Shield is enabled, all push/pop spam browser notifications are blocked by default.

We recommend always enabling Spam Shield to let AdTranquility protect you from spam and block spam browser notifications on your device.

5. If you want to allow notifications from specific websites you trust, you can do so by adding them to the Whitelist.

Here's how:

•
  • From the Spam Shield settings screen, tap on the Whitelist feature.
  • Once the Whitelist screen opens, tap the Add website button to add the websites' URLs you trust and want to get notifications from.
  • You can also manage your list of whitelisted websites at any time, deleting or adding websites as needed.
  • Your device will only receive notifications from your whitelisted websites, while all spam browser notifications will remain blocked.

6. You can access the full list of blocked spam notifications in the Blocked spam screen.

Here’s how:

•
  • From the Spam Shield settings screen, tap on Blocked spam.
  • Once the Blocked spam screen opens, you’ll have access to the full list of blocked spam notifications on your device.

PLEASE NOTE

• If you wish to learn more about Blocked spam and how to manage the notifications blocked by Spam Shield, refer to our help article How can I delete blocked notifications from the Blocked spam list?
• Blocked spam is an option only available on AdTranquility's mobile application.
• If you're using AdTranquility's desktop browser extension it currently offers no option to view or manage your Blocked spam notifications, which means that no records of the spam browser notifications blocked on your desktop browser are kept/saved.

•

Alternatively, you can also toggle the Allow notifications from this site status bar to the right, from AdTranquility’s extension main screen, whenever you're on a website that you want to whitelist. This way, the website will automatically be added to the list of your whitelisted websites.
